CommonPlace's purpose is to support, stir and strengthen the Church. While a local church may take certain positions, we prioritize the essentials to promote harmony, unity and love among churches. The truth set forth does not contain all the truth of God's Word, but it is intentionally and predominantly composed of Scripture to stand on its own, to encompass core doctrines and to promote unity in the essentials of faith, that everyone would be restored to him, live in harmony with each other and glorify Him.
We believe Jesus Christ is Lord [7], The Word of God [8], the image of the invisible God [9], the exact imprint of his nature [10] and the Word was God [11]. The universe was created [12] by him...through him and for him...and in him all things hold together [13]. Coming into the world [14] Jesus...emptied himself [15], became flesh and dwelt among us [16] in human form [17], conceived...from the Holy Spirit [18], attested to you by God with mighty works and wonders and signs [19], without sin [20], to save the lost [21], delivered up to be crucified [22]. Obedient to...death on a cross [23] he was buried [24] and raised from the dead [25] on the third day [24] ascended into heaven [26], the propitiation for...the sins of the whole world [27]. [Jesus] will come again [28] to judge the living and the dead [29]. In his glory...he will sit on his glorious throne [30] at the right hand of God [31], King of kings and Lord of lords [32], the Alpha and the Omega...the beginning and the end [33].
We believe the Lord is the Spirit [34], hovering over the face of the waters [35], the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God [36] and comprehends the thoughts of God [37]. He will convict the world concerning sin and righteousness and judgment [38]. The Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words [39]. He will declare to you the things that are to come [40], he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you [41], he will guide you into all the truth [40] and helps us in our weakness [39].
We believe God created us in his image [42], that sin came into the world through one man [43] and so death spread to all men because all sinned [44]. The wages of sin is death [45]. Our sins [46] have made a separation between [us and] God [47]. No one comes to the Father except through me [48], there is salvation in no one else [49], but the light has come into the world [50]. If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved [51] by grace...through faith [52], justified...by the Spirit [53] to be saved, through sanctification by the Spirit and belief in the truth. [54]. All who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God." [55], sealed for the day of redemption [56], a new creation [57].
We believe The Lord...not wishing that any should perish [58] reconciled us to himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation [59] to love...God...And...love [our] neighbor [60]. By this all people will know that [we] are [his] disciples [61], having the same love [62] which binds everything together in perfect harmony [63] and that the world may believe that [God...] sent [Jesus] [64], a plan for the fullness of time, to unite all things in him, things in heaven and things on earth [65], making all things new.
