A: The board consists of a majority of qualified elders from churches in our community, with no more than one from each church. A minority of non-elder board members can hold financial stakes in CommonPlace LP. Only board members without such stakes can vote on decisions where there might be a conflict of interest between investors and the mission of CommonPlace Ministries.
Learn More About Our StructureA: We will invite feedback at all of our events. Through listening to our neighbors we will foster relationships with the community, guiding us on how to best express love towards them. This feedback will be collected into proposals that will be submitted for evaluation and approval by the board. Continuous feedback and listening to the community will allow us to refine our understanding of their needs.
A: All people are created in the image of God and are inherently valuable. The Church's job is to love their neighbor, regardless of their background. CommonPlaces will be designed to reach the entire community.
A: The CommonPlace board is committed to transparency, primarily through disclosure of comprehensive financial records and detailed board meeting minutes.
